This exciting grant was to teach the class Families as Partners, and was offered throughout Fairfield County in both English and Spanish. All classes are completed. If this grant is received again, we will post it on this page! Classes were free to participants. CEU’s granted.

Stamford - 2 Saturdays, May 31 and June 7, 2008. 10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (focus on families who have kids with mental health and behavioral challenges and the professional who care about them). Norwalk - 2 Saturdays, June 14 & 21, 3008. 10am - 4:30pm. Child care provided! Thanks to trainers Ginger Spiers & Jessica Veneziano-Lemos. Thanks to the full support from STAR, Lighting the Way… for hosting and providing child care. For CEUs, New Canaan Public Schools. – class completed

Trumbull - 1 Saturday Crash Course - June 28, 2008. 8am - 6:00 pm, plus 2 hours of preparation required. Instructors were Anne Eason and Vivian Birdsall. Thanks to New Canaan Public Schools for CEUs and Trumbull Parents of Students with Learning Differences for hosting the event. – class completed
